Shopping with Discover Delicious:

Do I have to register with Discover Delicious before I can shop?

No, you are able to check out as a guest without having to register. Although, registration is simple and can save you time on your return! 

 

Is there a minimum order value?

Yes £5 is the minimum order value excluding delivery. 

 

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept all the major Debit Cards and Credit Cards. We use Stripe, a safe and secure payment gateway to provide you with peace of mind.

 

Is there a Discover Delicious loyalty card?

Not yet but watch this space. There’s plenty of delicious extras on their way, but as we’re just getting started we want to make sure everything is running perfectly first.

 

Do you sell Discover Delicious gift cards?

Not yet but they’re on their way. We’ll also be offering exclusive discounts and promotions throughout the year.

 

Delivery:

Where do you deliver?

Discover Delicious products are available to be delivered to mainland UK addresses unless marked differently. Don’t forget to look out for special shipping terms for Northern Ireland and the Scottish Highlands as sometimes the cost of delivery can be slightly higher to these locations.

If you live overseas and would like to place an order please enquire at [email protected] as we can sometimes ship products overseas on request.

 

What are the delivery charges?

Food Hall orders cost £8.50 or FREE over £60 (pre VAT) and all products bought from the Food Hall arrive together in one delivery.

Gift and Marketplace delivery charges vary by producer and product. Some will include Free Shipping, others will vary the shipping costs depending on the volume you buy. When you add products to your basket, the shipping costs are clearly displayed for you at the checkout. 

 

Can I book a set delivery slot?

Unfortunately not at the moment. Once you place your order it will be delivered within the delivery time stated in the Delivery tab.  You will receive an email letting you know when your product is on its way.

 

How do I change my delivery slot?

Delivery is as per the specified terms displayed for each product so it will vary for each product and producer.  You will receive an email letting you know when your product is on its way. If you have a problem with your delivery, please get in touch with the Discover Delicious team at [email protected]

 

What happens if I miss a delivery?

Your delivery will be returned to the producer, and they will attempt to re-deliver your order, if possible.  

To make sure you receive your delivery when expected, please be sure to provide a delivery address where you know someone will be able to take receipt of your delivery.

 

Your Orders:

Can I save my order as a shopping list?

Not yet, but it’s on its way! We’ve got lots of new ideas up our sleeve, but we’re just getting started so it will take some time to implement all these extra features.

 

Where can I find my order details?

If you log in to your account, and visit your account page, you can clearly see your orders and their status.

 

Can I place an order over the phone?

We’re purely an online marketplace so all orders need to be placed through our website.  If you are experiencing difficulties placing your order online please email [email protected] including your telephone number and we’ll be happy to call and help.

 

Can I reorder a previous shop?

Not yet, but it’s on its way! We’ve got lots of new ideas up our sleeve, but we’re just getting started so it will take some time to implement all these extra features.

 

Can I add a gift message?

Absolutely!  If you’d like to add a message you can do this in the ‘notes to sellers’ section at the checkout.

 

 

Returns and Refunds:

What is your returns policy?

We hope that you will be delighted by your Discover Delicious purchases – but should you wish to return a product, please contact us within 14 days and we will organise a return, exchange or refund for unopened and unused products in re-saleable condition (perishable and/or personalised and bespoke products unfortunately cannot be returned, exchanged or refunded).

Please note that you will have to bear the direct cost of returning the product unless otherwise stated by the producer or in the product description.

Please do not discard the product you wish to return, exchange or receive a refund for until you have spoken to us.

How do I update my details?

When you login, you can visit your account page and edit any of your details in there. Simply make your changes and click Save.

What happens if I forget my password?

At login, enter your username and click Forgotten Password. A new link will be sent to the email address you have registered, and from here you can choose a new Password.

 

Products

How do I find products?

You can search for products on our site using our super quick search box. Or you can explore by category, or producer. Just select the sections you want to visit from the Navigation bar or the home page.

 

How do I add items to my shopping basket?

Simply select the product and click Add to Basket. It will be stored in your basket until you transact or logout.

How do I become a Discover Delicious Producer?

Please email [email protected] and we’ll be happy to help.

 

Does it cost me anything to promote on Discover Delicious?

No. We do take a very small, market-beating percentage of sales made through Discover Delicious, but that’s it.  You can Sign Up online, or get in touch with the Discover Delicious team at [email protected] – and we will be happy to talk you through the ‘nitty gritty’.  We’re here to help!
