Here at Trailhead Fine Foods, we produce our award-winning beef jerky using responsibly sourced PGI Welsh Beef. Our delicious protein snacks are made in Wales using the finest ingredients, and are complemented by our innovative and delicious homemade great taste award winning recipes.
All of our beef jerky snacks are high in protein and gluten free and will never have any artificial flavours, preservatives, MSG, nitrates or nitrites.
Our Story
Our story began in December 1999 when one man ventured on a 1,500 mile voyage of discovery from Chicago to Yellowstone National Park. It was on this journey that he had his first taste of Beef Jerky and was instantly hooked.
After discovering his newfound love for the protein packed snack, he searched for guidance from American Jerky enthusiasts around the country, who taught him the techniques and gave him the recipes needed to produce his very own. This same man went on to put all his gained jerky making skills, knowledge & US based experience to work, revealing the finest, most flavorsome Beef Jerky on the planet, even earning some Great Taste Awards along the way!
