The baking spices give the rum a complex and exciting spectrum of flavours. The molasses and spiced banana esters take a back seat in the mouth but are ever-present.
Finish
Similar to a complex single malt whisky, the astringency of the oak cast tempers the sweet vanilla notes that give the rum an unexpected dryness at the end.

Our base rum is a blend from the Caribbean’s most renowned distilleries. In Wales the base is infused with Bara Brith and distilled in a copper pot still with fruits and spices for sweetness, Shirgar Carmarthanshire butter for smoothness and Glengettie black tea for an unusually dry finish.

What happens when a group of 3 driven, passionate Rum drinkers get together in Wales? …They decide to launch a premium Spiced Rum, that is unlike no other. Doubtless a conversation that many rum enthusiasts have had over time, but in this case drunken ramblings have turned into reality.
Seeing an opportunity to create something truly unique, a team of 3 great friends have worked with some of the spirit industry’s finest people to launch Devil’s Bridge Spiced Rum.
The base rum is a blend from some of the Caribbean’s most renowned distilleries. In Wales the base is infused with Bara Brith (a Welsh Bread) and distilled in a copper pot still with fruits and spices for sweetness, Shirgar Carmarthanshire butter for smoothness and Glengettie black tea for an unusually dry finish.
The liquid is then poured into an iconic red bottle, which was inspired by the famous Welsh Legend of Devil’s Bridge and really makes this rum stand out from the crowd. The label features a beautifully intricate design, which is embellished through 5 print processes including foiling, de-bossing and spot UV.
