Fillet is our finest steak. A very lean steak cut from an underused muscle of our Welsh Beef. We traditionally mature to enhance the flavour and make it exceptionally tender. Fillet is a very sought after cut as there is only a small portion from each cattle.

Our beef is PGI certified (Protected Geographical Indication).

We source our Welsh meat from three local farms including the famous Salt Marsh Lamb from the Gower coast.

Shipping policy

At Hugh Phillips Gower Butcher we prepare our packages to order and currently dispatch them for you on Tuesdays and Thursdays using a 24 hour courier service. This means that if your order is received by 8pm on Monday, it will be prepared on Tuesday and will arrive on Wednesday. If your order is received by 8pm on Wednesday, it will arrive with you on Friday. We also offer FREE UK delivery for orders over £80. Our deliveries arrive in an insulated packaging that is more eco-friendly than conventionally insulated packaging such as polystyrene. It is also entirely biodegradable and keeps your produce cold for up to 72 hours. *Christmas Delivery* In order to guarantee Christmas delivery, we'll need your orders in by Saturday the 15th of December.
