A traditional hot aromatic chilli sauce. Used extensively in the cuisine of South East Asia. Sambals can be blisteringly hot however the oriental spicing always shines through. We have dialled the heat down a notch or two in this sambal to make it far less intense than our Sambal Ulek. We use two distinct varieties of chillies to give our signature sambal it’s unique flavour.
Parva Spices signature sambal is made to a traditional Javanese recipe from completely natural ingredients, there are no artificial colouring’s, preservatives or stabilisers.
This fiery sauce can be used sparingly as a marinade, a base for curries and stir fries, thinly spread on sandwiches and wraps, as a base for other sambals or simply as a condiment for oriental dishes.

Many of the ingredients that we use are whole spices meaning that they retain their flavour longer than their ground counterparts. When your order arrives you will notice the consistency of the powder is chunkier and not as milled as you may be used to.
