Here at the Welsh Cheese Company, we curate the finest artisan cheeses that Wales has to offer, championing the hard working, incredibly talented Welsh cheese producers that are often overlooked. We are proud to be working closely with some of the most passionate producers to bring you the very best Welsh cheese, cheese gifts and cheese hampers.

I’m Tom Pinder, founder of The Welsh Cheese Company. As a child,  I was a regular visitor to a small dairy farm down the road from our house, where the farmer and his wife produced the most mouth-wateringly sharp farmhouse cheddar. This is when my passion for cheese began. I have a vivid memory of the milking parlour in the corner of the farmyard and the shed with a rows of giant cheddar truckles that would be hauled down and cut for us. We’d then take it home and my mum would make the most amazing mac and cheese with it, which remains one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted!
