What the experience offers:
Your full foraging day consists of three foraging elements, depending on the time of year. We’ll explore the true wilderness of this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Pembrokeshire and I’ll share my expert knowledge with you along the way.
Learning valuable foraging skills brings you closer to your surroundings and closer to understanding the fragile eco-systems that are all around us, and this is one of the unforgettable things that you will take away with you from this experience. I will also guide you through other non-edible and poisonous plants and fungi to avoid – a valuable life lesson!
Once we’ve gathered nature’s finest bounty from the beautiful Welsh countryside and shoreline, I will create a delicious multi-course dinner for you to enjoy using the fresh ingredients that we’ve foraged throughout the day. In a previous life I trained as a Chef, starting my career in Raymond Blanc’s kitchen followed by many other Michelin starred restaurants. I will use all of the expert skills acquired during my time in these establishments to provide a fine dining experience like you’ve never experienced before.
I only ever use produce from Wales and the areas in which I live and work, which I believe elevates each dish and provides an unforgettable foodie experience.
