“It’s my most favourite gin cocktail – an absolute classic with it being nicely balanced with it’s sweet and sour tones. It’s a great ‘Spring’ drink, so I wanted to inject a bit of freshness into #Ginuary to get us going… If you’re making this at home, then don’t forget, you can easily crush ice using a tea-towel and a rolling pin.” Dai Wakely, Master Distiller at Cygnet Gin.
This delicious gin cocktail from our wonderful producers, Cygnet gin is one of our favourites and definitely one to try this Ginuary!
- 2 Glasses of Crushed Ice
- 50ml Cygnet Dry Welsh Gin
- 25ml Lemon Juice
- 25ml Sugar Syrup
- Dash of blackberry liqueur
- Blackberry and Lemon Wedge to garnish
In a cocktail shaker, mix 50ml of Cygnet Dry Gin with 25ml of lemon juice and 25 ml of sugar syrup. Add a splash of blackberry liqueur and shake well.
Pour half of the mixture into each glass filled with ice.
Garnish with a blackberry and a wedge of lemon.
